The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash met Today, Thursday, with the Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Yemen Zhao Cheng.
They conferred over bilateral relations and cooperation.
Baggash celebrated the Yemeni-Chinese robust relations and the efforts to develop and enhance them in all fields, highly appreciating China's positions towards Yemen and the Presidential Leadership Council led by Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.
He underscored the importance of China's decision to exempt Yemeni exports from customs duties, describing the step as positive and encouraging to enhance trade exchange and support the government's efforts to develop exports amid economic challenges.
The Chinese diplomat confirmed that Beijing is very keen to further boost cooperation with Yemen in various fields.
He affirmed China's continuous support for the legitimate government, the unity, integrity, and stability of Yemen.
