Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, chaired an expanded meeting of the Joint Committee of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Aden, Yemen's interim capital. The meeting brought together key stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and future plans for enhancing healthcare in Yemen.
The gathering focused on reviewing progress and evaluation reports on WHO interventions in various health sectors and programs. Discussions centered on the extent of achievements and challenges facing implementation, as well as outlining visions and future plans for joint projects and programs between the Ministry and WHO.
Dr. Buhaybeh urged the working group to enhance coordination to achieve desired progress in implementing projects and interventions.
