Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh met Sunday with Peter Kinuthia, the Country Director of Samaritan's Purse in Yemen to discuss several topics related to supporting the health sector.
Dr. Buhybeh reviewed the organization's interventions in the health sector over the past period, which included projects for pediatric heart surgeries and primary healthcare in Makha city, Taiz Governorate, as well as plans for future expansions.
The Minister praised the organization's surgical and therapeutic interventions, particularly in pediatric heart surgery, emphasizing the importance of expanding the project, which addresses a critical need for the ministry and contributes to providing services while reducing the costs of treatment abroad.
