Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak has directed the local authority in Hodeida to double its efforts and address the needs of citizens, particularly in humanitarian and living aspects.
He emphasized the need to tackle these issues according to available resources and urgent priorities, while paying attention to the displaced in liberated areas and those fleeing the brutality and violations of the Houthi terrorist militias.
During his meeting Sunday here with Governor of Hodeida Dr. al-Hasan Taher, the Prime Minister was briefed on the conditions in the governorate and the ongoing coordination between the local authority and ministries to improve service, humanitarian and developmental conditions in liberated areas, as well as urgent needs.
He commended the courageous stance of the people of Hodeida in rejecting the Houthi coup and standing against these racist, theocratic militias, and highlighted the systematic violations and crimes they have faced.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to alleviating their suffering.
