Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held discussions today, Sunday, with the Ambassadors of the countries of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Yemen over the joint efforts aimed to support the Yemeni government to deal with the economic and humanitarian challenges.
The talks also touched on the regional developments and the ongoing efforts to bring peace in Yemen.
The meeting brought together Dr. Zindani and the Ambassador of the EU Gabriel Vinals, German Ambassador Hubert Jager , Dutch Ambassador Jennette Seppen, French Ambassador Katharine Corm Kammoun and the Bulgarian Ambassador.
Zindani praised the EU's constant support for the Yemeni government and people in different fields, underscoring the need to further boost cooperation between Yemen and the EU to serve the mutual objectives to achieve security and stability in Yemen and the region.
The EU's Ambassadors reiterated their support for the political solution in Yemen, affirming the commitment of their countries to support the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government to establish peace and stability in Yemen.
