Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi met the Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah in the German city of Munich today on the sidelines of the 61st session of the International Security Conference, which commenced today, Friday.
Talks went over the latest developments in local and regional situations, in addition to exchanging perspectives and coordinating stances on issues of mutual interest. The meeting also touched on aspects of bilateral cooperation and priorities of Kuwaiti economic and development support, humanitarian interventions, services and relief, and urgent government needs in various spheres.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council renewed his profound thanks and appreciation to the State of Kuwait, led by Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, and the government and brotherly Kuwaiti people for their fraternal positions, support and facilities provided to the government and the Yemeni people in various stages and circumstances. For his part, the Kuwaiti premier affirmed the State of Kuwait's commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and their leadership to overcome their current predicament and achieve their aspirations for security, stability and peace.
