Yemen's Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Mohsen al-Daeri, had a productive meeting with his Indian counterpart, Rajnath Singh, in Bangalore to discuss ways to boost joint cooperation between their countries.
They acknowledged the long-standing historical ties between Yemen and India, which date back to ancient times, and
expressed appreciation for India's support in training Yemeni personnel and providing medical services to the armed forces. The Yemeni Defense Minister also highlighted the threat posed by the Houthi militia to maritime navigation and international peace, emphasizing the need for global support to secure trade routes and navigation.
