RIYADH - SABA
Lou'ay Yahya Abdul Rahman al-Eryani sworn-in today, Monday, before His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh, for being appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Germany.
Following the ceremonies, President al-Alimi urged Ambassador a-Eryani to assume his full responsibilities in representing the Republic of Yemen as head of its diplomatic mission in Berlin and to double down efforts to care for Yemen's interests and serve its citizens residing and arriving in the Federal Republic of Germany, in a way that exemplifies the long-standing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
The Chairman of the PLC praised the Yemeni diplomatic significant role, underscoring the importance of doubling down its efforts to mobilize the international community's support and to maintain its unity alongside the Yemeni people and its aspirations to restore state institutions and eliminate the Iranian regime-backed terrorist Houthi militias' coup.
