President al-Alimi receives UAE ambassador to Yemen

RIYADH - SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Monday the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen Mohammed Hamad al-Zaabi.

The meeting addressed the bilateral relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as the prospects for enhancing and developing these relations at all levels.

During the meeting, the UAE ambassador conveyed the greetings of his brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and his wishes for good health and happiness for the President and for the Yemeni people, peace, security, and stability.

President al-Alimi asked Ambassador Al-Zaabi to convey his greetings and the greetings of the Council members to the UAE leadership, wishing the Emirati people continued progress and prosperity under their wise leadership.

He praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and the active role of the United Arab Emirates within the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, including its economic, humanitarian, and developmental interventions in various fields.

For his part, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates affirmed his country's commitment to supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and achieving their aspirations for stability, development, and peace.
