The Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism Dr. Hussein Basalim held talks today, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Swiss Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Dr. Thomas Oertle over bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of supporting antiquities and museums and developing the tourism sector.

USIP hosts Prime Minister in closed session to discuss Yemen developments

The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) hosted Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak in Washington today where a closed session was held to discuss developments in Yemen and the government's perspective in dealing with national, regional and international developments.

The leadership and team of USIP stressed the importance of the Yemeni premier's current visit to Washington after the success achieved by the international ministerial meeting to mobilize support for the Yemeni government.

Bin Mubarak set the scene of the entire situation in Yemen from political, economic, service and military aspects, demonstrated the challenges facing the government and the government's perspective to deal with those challenges.
