The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

PM stresses partnership between gov't and UN to move from relief to development

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak stressed the importance of strengthening the partnership between the Yemeni government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to move from the relief phase to the sustainable development stage and to maximize the use of available international funds to support the Yemeni people as one of the urgent priorities that are being worked on.

He made his comment during his talks with UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner in New York on the sidelines of the International Ministerial Meeting in Support of the Yemeni Government.

During the meeting, they discussed efforts to mobilize support for the Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan and support tracks aimed at strengthening state institutions, institutional reform in Yemen, combating corruption, enhancing transparency and accountability, as well as enhancing societal resilience and facing humanitarian and economic challenges.
