The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. Presidential Leadership Council reviews practical mechanisms to handle economic situations

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held meeting today, Tuesday, presided over by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Mujalli and Faraj al-Bahsani, and Tariq Saleh and Abdul-Rahman al-Mahrami contributed to the discussions via the video conference, meanwhile Aidarous al-Zubaidi and Sultan al-Arada were absent with excuse.

The meeting was devoted to discuss the political, economic and basic services situations, which have been worsen by the attacks of the Iranian regime backed terrorist militias on the oil facilities and international shipping lanes.

The meeting approved the Government's Plan and its Executive Matrix for Rescuing and Economic Recovery, as well as to manage the fluctuation of the national currency exchange rates, secure basic commodities, enhance the protection tools for the vulnerable social groups, improve the state's ability to access its sovereign resources and to deliver on its obligations, go on the comprehensive reforms which are backed by regional and international community.

The PLC ordered to immediately implement the plan in accordance with the constitutional and legal references and the observations which put forward by the Economic Team and the coordinated criteria with the donors to concentrate on reducing the deficit of the state general budget and improve the national currency position and contain the inflation in the prices of basic commodity and services.

The PLC reiterated its great gratitude and appreciation to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their support for the Yemeni people and its legitimate leadership, highly appreciating the Saudi new deposit in the Central Bank of Yemen and one more batch of the noble grant to support the state general budget.

The PLC also praised the ongoing arrangements led by the United Kingdom to hold an international donors conference.

The PLC praised the constructive response by the Local Authrotiy and national constituencies in Hadramout government to the PLC's stated plan to normalize the situations in the governorate and to address the legitimate demands of the fellow citizens and the political constituencies in Hadramout.

The PLC looked over a plan submitted by the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism and the Media officials of the components which included in the PLC about the guidelines of the media discourse to keep pace with the current changes on the national, regional and international stages.

The PLC endorsed the plan and approved to establish a committee tasked with backing the media battle.
The PLC touched on the situations in the governorate of al-Baidha and the measures taken and need to be taken to deter the terrorism of the Houthi militias and grave violations of human rights in the village of "Hankat Massaud" in the District of al-Qarashia.

The PLC directed the government to provide the impacted families with urgent assistance and to support all forms of resistance against the Imamate scheme, take every necessary measures to protect human rights in coordination with the regional and international partners.
