The Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Abdullah Abu al-Ghaith highly praised China's supportive stance in support of Yemen, deeply appreciated the Chinese contribution to the humanitarian actions to ally the suffering of the Yemeni people.
Abu al-Ghaith hailed the Yemeni-Chinese relationships as historic and fruitful, underlining the Chinese significant projects in various fields and Yemeni regions.
He made his remarks during his conversations today, Tuesday, with the Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Shao Cheng.
The talks dealt with Yemeni-Chinese bilateral relations and the developments in the Yemeni national scene.
The Chinese diplomat reaffirmed Beijing's support for the ongoing efforts to achieve the fair and comprehensive peace that leads to maintain Yemen's unity, security and stability .
He also stated that China is keen to support the internationally recognized Yemeni government and the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the PLC.
