Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak stressed that women occupy a pivotal position within the government's five-track priorities and program during the coming period.
He said their integration into the priorities reflect the government's belief in women's ability to contribute effectively to building a cohesive and advanced society.
The premier made the remarks, today, at the opening of the Seventh Women's Summit, which is being held over two days in the interim capital, Aden.
Bin Mubarak appreciated the attendance of ambassadors and the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen in the event to communicate the international community's continued support for the issues of women.
