Al-Arada confirms his support for the Supreme Medical Board to reform health sector

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Sultan al-Arada has confirmed the PLC's full support for the Supreme Medical Board (SMB) to do its job independently, professionally and effectively in accordance with the regulatory rules it is governed by .
He said " The SMB must undertake its professional role in redressing irregularities in health businesses, ensure good quality medical services and protect the fellow citizens from medical wrongdoings".
He made his comments during his meeting today, Thursday, with the Chairman of the SMB Dr. Zain al-Saqaf.
Dr. Al-Saqaf briefed al-Arada on the actions of the SMB since it has been restructured last, its ongoing efforts to correct the medical irregularities the medical businesses.
The Member of the PLC applauded the SMB's efforts to correct errors in exercising the medical professions, directing the authorities in charge to sustain the SMB's efforts so that it can do its job effectively.
