His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Yemen Mostafa Pollat.
Yemeni-Turkish bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.
The developments about the Yemeni situation were also touched upon.
President al-Alimi celebrated historic relations between the Republic of Yemen and the Republic of Turkey, underscoring the importance of promoting collaboration between the two countries.
The President highly praised the Turkish supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government and its efforts to restore the state's institutions.
He also greatly valued the significant contribution of the Turkish charity foundations to the relief and humanitarian efforts in Yemen to alleviate the Yemeni people's suffering.
The Chairman of the PLC voiced the gratitude of Yemen, its government and people to the Turkish government for the significant facilitations given to the Yemeni community in Turkey, including hosting thousands of the Yemeni nationals who are seeking for a safe refuge there to escape the Iranian-regime backed terrorist Houthi militias.
