His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alaimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, on his country National Day.

President al-Alimi expressed his own and on behalf of the members of the PLC and the government sincere congratulations, wishing President Jinping wellbeing and happiness, more progress and prosperity for the Chinese friendly people.

Al-Alimi voiced his great gratitude to the supportive stances of the People's Republic of China in support of the Yemeni people, its internationally recognized government and the Yemenis' aspirations to restore the state's institutions, security, stability and peace.

The Chairman of the PLC stated that he is looking forward to further strengthen Yemeni-Chinese relations in different fields to serve the mutual interests of the two countries.
