Meeting in Aden discusses UNICEF's interventions in water sector

The Director-General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden Engineer Mohammed Bakhubaira discussed Sunday with UNICEF Water and Environmental Sanitation Specialist Anis Ahmed the organization's interventions in the water sector in the governorate.

The meeting, attended by the Director of Coordination at Aden Water Corporation, Nagwin Ata, and UNICEF Consultant Raafat Hashem, addressed projects being implemented by UNICEF in collaboration with the Corporation, including the emergency water line for the Sirah District and the main water transmission line for the Towahi district.

Additionally, the meeting covered UNICEF's support for the Corporation in supplying water pumps, pipes, and valves.

During the meeting, Bakhubaira emphasized the importance of UNICEF's interventions in enhancing the Corporation's capacity to deliver services and provide water to the citizens of Aden.
