His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) along the PLC's Members Aidarous al-Zubaidi and Othman Mujalli left the city of New York at the conclusion of the presidential contribution to the discussions of the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly.

In his high-profile contributions to the UN General Assembly deliberations, President al-Alimi detailed the world leaders about the developments of the Yemeni situation, the vision of the PLC and the government about reviving the peace track, putting an end of the humanitarian suffering created by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias.

The Chairman and Members of the PLC Aidarous al-Zubaidi and Othman Mujalli held bilateral meetings and discussions about the means to de-escalate the conflict and the deterrence of the threats of the terrorist organizations to establish the security of Yemen and the international peace and security.

President al-Alimi and the PLC's members were seen off by Yemen's Permanent Representative Abdullah al-Sa'di and Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Washington Mohammed al-Hadrami.
