Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council(PLC) received on Wednesday the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg.
Mr. Grundberg briefed President al-Alimi on the outcomes of his recent communication in order to de-escalate the tension and to press for reviving the political process against which Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias reneged.
President al-Alimi reiterated the full support of the PLC and the government to the UN-led efforts to launch an inclusive political process based on the nationally, regionally and internationally agreed on terms of the peace references, mainly the UNSCR 2216.
The Chairman of the PLC stressed that it is very important to keep national, regional and international attention on the Houthi militias' practices, including the militias' grave violation of human rights. In this context, he pointed out to the hunt down oppression and abduction campaign against the activists and the staff of the UN's relief and humanitarian agencies in Yemen.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindan, Yemen's Permanent Representative to the UN Abdullah al-Sa'di and Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Washington Mohammed al-Hadrami were in attendance.
