The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Moreover, Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasous was appointed Minister of Local Administration, becoming the first woman to take on this ministry since the establishment of the republic.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) awarded today, Wednesday, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdurrahman al-Asoumi Medal the of the Yemeni Unity May 22 of the First Class.

The President decorated the Bahraini parliamentarian Adel al-Asoumi with the high medal in a reception held today with the presence of the Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher and the Republic of Yemen representatives to the Arab Parliament.

of Yemen leadership, government and people to Mr. al-Asoumi for his brave and supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people, defending its internationally recognized leadership, it Arab and Islamic identity and its legitimate struggle for regaining the state's institutions, establishing peace, stability and development.
