Kuwaiti aid organization sponsors 400 free eye surgeries in Mokha

A medical camp for eye surgeries sponsored by the Kuwaiti Direct Aid Association-Yemen office has concluded today with 400 eye surgeries completed in the city of Mokha, Taiz Governorate, as part of the "Kuwait Is By Your Side" campaign, which continues for the ninth year in a row.

The regional director of the Association Ali Battit said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), "The camp included 400 surgeries to remove cataracts and implant lenses, examine about 3,078 beneficiaries, conduct laboratory and internal examinations, and distribute 1,011 awareness brochures on eye diseases and disease prevention."
