Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held discussions today, Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden, with the UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen Julien Harnies over humanitarian, relief and development actions.

They elaborately discussed aspects of the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the Yemeni government and the UN's agencies .

The underway efforts to mobilize the needed resources to deal with the damages caused by the torrential rainfalls and floods were also key focus of the conversations.

Dr. Zindani stated that the government is keenly seeking to strengthen cooperation and coordination with the UN's agencies to ensure the delivery of the humanitarian aids and carry out development projects all over the Yemeni governorates.
