His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) sent a congratulatory cable to Her Excellency President Droupadi Murmu of the Republic of India on the National Independence Day of her friendly country.

President al-Alim expressed his own sincere congratulations and on behalf of the PLC's member and the Yemeni government to the President Murmu, the Indian government and people on the National Independence Day of India.

The Chairman of the PLC wished President Murmu wellbeing and happiness, more progress and prosperity for the friendly Indian government and people.

Al-Alimi celebrated Yemeni-Indian relations that had been deeply rooted, dated back several centuries, proved useful and helpful to both friendly countries and peoples.

His Exelcceny voiced Yemen's desire to promote Yemeni-Indian bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas.
