Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Tariq Saleh checked on the situation of the flood-hit Maqbanah district of western Taiz during a phone call with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan.

Tariq Saleh stressed the importance of stepping up efforts to provide emergency assistance to those affected by the floods.

He ordered the Humanitarian Work Cell in the National Resistance to communicate and coordinate immediately with the panel assigned by Taiz Governor to assess the damage, and to offer emergency aid to the affected population.
