The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held an emergency meeting today, Wednesday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council, with the presence of its members Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi and Othman Majli.

President al-Alimi hails junior football players as national heroes

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) heaped praise on the players of junior national football team, describing them as heroes.
" It is pleasure to reiterate our congratulations to the players of our junior football team, you really made us very proud of your incredibly interesting football shows, you have already unified all Yemenis' hearts, you managed to achieve significant victories over the past period despite the extremely difficult circumstances, you are really national heroes", he stressed.
He made his statement as he received today, Thursday, the junior football team and the volleyball team in the city of al-Mukalla of Hadramout governorate.
The two national teams are preparing to participate in the two champions of the football and volleyball of west-Asia which will be hosted in Jordanian Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
