Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the European Union Mohammed Mostafa provided a brief presentation about the situations in our country.
He engaged in an open discussions today, Wednesday, with a number of the EU's officials in charge of the Middle East and Gulf state, Taha highlighted the economic hardships, economic and humanitarian challenges Yemen has been experiencing amid Houthi militias' military escalations in the Red Sea.
He also cited the government's ongoing financial and monetary reforms, underlining the need for furthere support by the EU to enable the government to counter Iran-backed Terrorist Houthi militias' escalations.
The EU's officials including representatives of Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Lithuania and Slovakia touched upon topical issues such the security in the Red Sea, the economic situation and humanitarian efforts.
The EU's officials reiterated the EU's support to the Presidential Leadership Council and the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
