UNRWA: Congestion in IDPs camps in Gaza increases pandemics

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that overcrowding Palestinian IDPs camps in Gaza Strip and lacking cleanness can further increase the spread of infectious diseases amid insufficient supplies of vaccines and medicines.

The UN agency added today, Friday, in a post on (X) platform that its teams are continuing to offer health care for the vulnerable persons in Gaza, including children and old people.

The UNRWA added" Vaccines and medicines in Gaza Strip are insufficient and the extremely overcrowded IDPs camps amid lacking cleanness is likely to further increase the outbreaks of the pandemics and infectious diseases".
