The Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) urged today Yemeni individuals and businesses who possess pre-2016 Yemeni rial bills to quickly deposit them either in the central bank or ny of the commercial and Islamic banks operating in the liberated parts of the country within sixty days at most from the date of this announcement.

The bank called on everyone to respond immediately to this announcement to save their money and serve the public interest, emphasizing that it will not bear any responsibility for not dealing seriously with the content of this announcement.
