Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed Monday with Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Al-Nafti, developments in Yemen, the continued escalation by the Houthi terrorist militias, with the support of the Iranian regime, and its repercussions on the domestic situation and the security of the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

Yemen, Jordan discuss standards, metrology cooperation

The Ambassador of Yemen to Jordan Dr. Jalal Ibrahim Faqirah discussed Wednesday with the Director General of the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Institution Engineer Abeer al-Zaheer cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them and benefit from the Jordanian experiences in this field.

During the meeting, which was attended by the Commercial Attaché at the Embassy Ramzi Al-Jafari, Ambassador Faqirah praised the level of progress and development achieved by the Jordanian Standards and Metrology Institution and its commitment to international standardization and specification principles, emphasizing the importance of benefiting from the advanced Jordanian experiences, building capacities, and strengthening the frameworks of joint cooperation between the two countries.

For her part, Engineer Abeer al-Zaheer reviewed the executive programs and the Jordanian standards and metrology programs, and ways to update and develop them according to scientific foundations, expressing her readiness to review and develop joint cooperation between the two countries.
