The Republic of Yemen presided over the 38th general session of the financial workgroup for Middle East and North Africa (MENAFATF) held in the Bahraini capital Manama and its discussions started today, Wednesday.
The Vice Minister, Chair of the National Committee for Control Money Laundering and Tourism Finance Hani Wahab assumed the headship of the Financial Workgroup of (MENAFATF) and he is leading the two-day deliberations.
A number of experts in controlling money laundering and terrorism finances and senior officials in charge, experts from international organizations are set to discuss topical issues relating to controlling money laundering and terrorism finances as well as weapons proliferation finances.
