Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Basuhayb greatly valued the significant contribution of the International Solidarities Organization to the humanitarian actions in Yemen over the previous years.
He voiced the gratitude during his conversations today, Sunday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Country Director of the organization Javier Steven and the Executive Director in Yemen Anton Abgani.
It is important to note that total costs of International Solidarities' humanitarian projects and interventions last year were $ 7 million and 955 thousands and one million and 8oo hundreds euros.
The projects were carried out in the fields of water, sanitation, food security and livelihood.
Dr. Basuhayb also met separately today, with Acting- Country Director of the US Med Global Organization Ghaith Mohammed.
The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the humanitarian interventions of the American Med Global Organization in our country.
The Med Global carried out health care projects last year in the governorates of Aden and Hodeida with an amount of 719 thousand US dollars.
