Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah al-Saadi has praised Mozambique's support for the Yemeni government and its efforts to bolster peace.

In a meeting with Mozambique's permanent representative to the UN, the President of the Security Council for this month, Ambassador al-Saadi pointed to Mozambique's prospective role in supporting the peace process in Yemen, and called on the Security Council to weigh on the Houthi militia and the Iranian regime to stop terrorist behavior and escalation against international navigation in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
