Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaea al-Zandani received today, Wednesday, a phone call from British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa Lord Tariq Ahmed.
The telephone conversations dealt with Yemeni-British bilateral relations and the latest developments about the situations in Yemen and topics of common interest.
Al-Zandani highly praised the British supportive stances in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government, deeply appreciating the UK's significant contribution the humanitarian actions in Yemen and to international efforts aiming to make peace.
The two sides stressed that it is very important to work together to end the war and re-establish security and stability in Yemen.
The British Minister affirmed his country's support for the Yemeni government and the regional and international efforts to bring peace.
Lord Ahmed stated that the UK will continue to provide humanitarian aids to mitigate the humanitarian crisis Yemen has been experiencing.
