Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak conducted a field visit to Lahj Province Wednesday to inspect the situation in the province and support the efforts of the local authority in meeting the service and developmental requirements of the citizens.
He also closely examined various issues and challenges, in addition to inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for a number of projects.
Lahj Governor General Ahmed al-Turki, along with several local, executive, military, and security leaders, received the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister held a meeting with the Lahj Governor, who presented a comprehensive report on the various situations, especially in the service, health, security, and military aspects, as well as the existing challenges and the burdens borne by the province due to the increase in refugees and internally displaced persons.
The urgent priorities and the aspects of assistance required from the government were also discussed.
