Yemen's Ambassador to Beijing Dr. Mohammed al-Maytami and the Director General of the West Asia and North Africa Department at the Foreign Relations Department of the Chinese Communist Party have discussed several matters concerning bilateral cooperation between Yemen and China and means to align bilateral stances regarding the issues of common concern on the international stage.
al-Maytami gave the Chinese official an account on Yemen's developments especially the Yemeni government's steps taken to stop the war ignited and perpetuated by the Houthi militia, stressing the government's interest to restore security and achieve a sustainable peace in all parts of Yemen.
