Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi received Monday Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen Mohammad Al Za'abi.
Al Za'abi conveyed best wishes of UAE President Mohammad bin Zayed, who hoped continued health to President al-Alimi and security and stability to Yemeni people.
For his part, President al-Alimi asked the UAE ambassador to convey his best wishes to his brother President Mohammed bin Zayed, the President of the United Arab Emirates, hoping him continued health and more progress and prosperity to Emirati people.
The meeting touched upon mutual relations between the brotherly countries and promising horizons to enhance them in different domains.
The meeting tackled latest developments in Yemen and joint efforts to coordinate positions towards status quo challenges.
President al-Alimi praised mutual relations between the two countries and commended the UAE's role within Saudi-led Arab Coalition to restore the state institutions of Yemen and security, stability and development.
He also praised UAE interventions in alleviating suffering of Yemeni people, including development projects in field of renewable energy, which will inter service this month, in addition to fuel shipments to operate power stations in Aden and liberated provinces.
