Ministers of Finance Salem bin Buraik and of Defense Major General Mohsen al-Daeri and the Deputy Chief Justice and Chairman of the Committee for Displaced Civilian, Military and Security Personnel in the Southern Provinces Judge Sahl Hamza discussed Wednesday realizing the financial support to address the issues of displaced employees from their civilian, military, and security positions in the southern provinces.
The meeting, which was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Hani Wahab, the Assistant Undersecretary for Government Regulation and Government Account at the Ministry of Finance, Khaled Al-Yarimi, and the Director of Officer Affairs at the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Ali Ubaid, discussed efforts made to address the issues of displaced employees, which resulted in the Cabinet's approval of financial support to address their issues and the issuance of presidential decrees ranging from Decree No. 42 to Decree No. 62, through which over 62,000 complaints of displaced civilian, military, and security personnel have been addressed.
The meeting emphasized the need to double efforts of all relevant state authorities and work on completing the financial support for displaced employees and disbursing their financial entitlements, in order to alleviate their living conditions in the difficult circumstances the country is going through.
