Yemen, Arab and Muslim Nations Reject Somaliland Move to Establish Mission in Occupied Jerusalem
Yemen and several Arab and Muslim countries have denounced the announcement by the self-declared Somaliland region regarding the opening of what was described as a diplomatic mission in occupied Jerusalem, calling the move unlawful and a clear breach of international law and relevant UN resolutions governing the status of the city.

Al-Aradah discusses with health minister improving medical services in liberated provinces

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Sultan al-Aradah discussed Tuesday with the Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhaybeh several issues related to the health sector in the liberated provinces.

The two parties discussed enhancing the ministry's efforts to implement plans and programs aimed at enhancing its role and improving the quality of medical services.

Minister of Public Health and Population presented a brief report on the achievements made by the ministry in various fields in the liberated provinces and the implementation of its plans to support health sector in different provinces, in accordance with the prepared plans and available resources, which prioritize each province's needs.

The minister also highlighted the expansion of medical services, while pointing out the significant challenges faced by the health sector due to the high demand for its development and the decline in international aid, which played a major role in supporting the health sector in the past years to sustain and improve services.

The meeting also addressed the health situation in Marib and the major challenges faced by the health sector, particularly with the significant expansion of the population benefiting from this sector as a result of receiving a large number of displaced people, whose health needs have increased, especially considering the effects of displacement and the humanitarian conditions they face.
The ministry's role in supporting the health sector and government medical facilities, particularly in terms of operational budgets to enable their continuity, as well as medical staff and equipment, were also discussed.
