RIYADH-SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed BinMubarak held plenary meeting with a number of the Heads of the EU member states' diplomatic missions to the Republic of Yemen to discuss the prospects of the political process in view of the recent developments in Yemen and the region.

BinMubarak has confirmed the Yemeni government's commitment to the peace course in order to achieve the peace to put an end of the humanitarian suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militias, noting that the militias have created circumstances that complicated the situations and made it very difficult for the UN-lead efforts to reach the needed road map to resume the political process.

The Foreign Minister explained that the Houthi militias has used the security of the Red Sea for its propaganda purposes that have nothing to do with the solidarity with the brothers in Gaza, it is rather intended to serve Iran's agenda and expansion policy in the region.

He reiterated the Yemeni government's supportive stance in support the fair Palestinian cause. He also renewed the government's condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces' crimes and violations in Gaza and the West Bank against the Palestinian people.

BinMubarak called on the EU member states to establish a robust partnership with the Yemeni government.

The European diplomats have confirmed their support for Yemen, its unity and sovereignty.

They also affirmed their countries' support for the Political Leadership Council and the Yemeni government's efforts to make peace in Yemen.
