The Ministry of Interior announced that the security authorities in the liberated governorates recorded 16,539 crimes, of which 10,484 crimes were seized, and 6055 crimes were included in the list of retained crimes during the year 2024 AD, as well as 940 non-criminal incidents that are still being researched and investigated until they are seized, their doers are apprehended, and they are handed over to justice to receive their punishment.
The director of the Ministry's Security Media Center, Captain Haitham Al-Jaradi, announced during a press conference organized by the Ministry of Interior, today, in the city of Sayoon, that the security services were able to arrest 12,846 defendants out of 15,713 defendants in the previously mentioned crimes, while the search is still ongoing for 1,303 defendants who are fugitive, while 242 persons are registered among the lists of unknown defendants.
