Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today, Thursday, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Yemen Ahmed Farouq.
Yemeni-Egyptian bilateral relations and cooperation was key focus of the conversations.
The discussions also covered latest developments about the Yemeni situation and the ongoing regional and international good offices to end the war and resume the political process to establish peace as well as joint efforts to secure the safety of international navigation in the Red Sea and Bab Al-Mandab.
The facilitations and services provided by the Egyptian authorities to the Yemeni community in Egypt were also touched upon; pointing out to the common positions toward what happens in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
Dr. Ma'een stated that the Yemeni government is categorically rejecting what the Terrorist Houthi militia is doing of piracy actions and threats to the international maritime navigation.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the Egyptian supportive stances in support of the Yemeni people, its republican regime through different stages.
