Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhaybeh discussed with the French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health field, reactivating the training and qualification of Yemeni health personnel in France, and opening joint training programs between medical colleges, health institutes and laboratories in the two countries.
Minister Buhaybeh called for the Yemeni Ministry of Health to join the platform of the International Health Unit of the French company Sanofi, looking forward to supplying Yemen with medicines for cancer, diabetes and chronic diseases, and involving civil society organizations and the Yemeni private sector in French development programs for the health sector.
