Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the United States, Steven Fagin.
The meeting touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries, and local developments, including the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to launch a comprehensive political process led by the United Nations.
The meeting also reviewed economic and financial reforms, the international support required to strengthen the course of these reforms, and government measures to contain the catastrophic humanitarian repercussions of the Houthi terrorist attacks on oil installations and international shipping lines.
The meeting also discussed a number of issues of common concern, and the positions of the two countries regarding them.The meeting was attended by Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi.
