Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Japan, Adel Assanaini met today, Wednesday, with the President of the Terra Renaissance Organization Masaya Onimaru and the Representative Director of the organization Mai Yoshida.
The conversations intended to explore means to establish joint cooperation between the Yemeni government and the Japanese organization to carry out its programs and projects in Yemen, mainly in the area of demining.
Assanaini sought for the Japanese organization's support for the Yemeni government's efforts to remove the landmines planted by Houthi militiamen, train the Yemeni deminers on prevention and protection from explosive materials.
He highlighted Yemen's need for Terra Renaissance Organization's projects and programs in Yemen in order to contribute to supporting the plans of the national program for demining through training, rehabilitation and capacity building.
