The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Lahj Governorate, Awad Al-Salahi, discussed today, with representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the governorate, a number of issues related to the activities and interventions of the committee’s humanitarian projects in the governorate.

The meeting reviewed community development projects with both sustainable and emergency dimensions, which the International Committee is implementing in the districts of Lahj Governorate, in various fields, most notably the health sector, the model medical center of the Red Cross in Tuban District, and the role of the Committee in the process of holding training and educational courses for youth.
