Deputy Chief of General Staff Maj. General Ahmed al-Basser met today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital Aden with the Military Attaché at French embassy to the Republic of Yemen Lieutenant Colonel Junaid Judah.

Yemen-French bilateral cooperation was key focus of the discussions.

French technical support for the Yemeni armed forces was elaborately discussed.

The conversations also touched upon joint coordination and cooperation about fighting terrorism and controlling smuggling as well as ensuring the safety of international marine navigation, particularly amid current threats that Iran-backed Houthi militias poses to regional and international security.
