Al-Erada inaugurates maternity, emergency obstetrics sections at Marib Public Hospital

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Marib governorate Maj. General Sultan al-Erada inaugurated today, Monday, at Marib Central Hospital the Maternity and Emergency Obstetrics Section, laid down foundation stone of the project to establish the Heart Center, funded by the Local Authority.

During his visit to the Central Hospital headquarters he inspected the work in progress in implementing the construction projects for the Emergency Center Buildings, the doctors’ residence consisted of 36 residential apartments, Administrative Building and Building of a new inpatient department with a capacity of 80 beds.

All these projects funded by the Local Authority of the governorate.

The member of the PLC announced about an additional financial support for Marib Central Hospital to be provided by the Local Authority to purchase a Cardiac Catheterization Device and a Lithotripsy Device to serve with the Dialysis Unit as the key components for establishing a Center for Kidney Disease and Kidney Failure in the governorate.
