Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Japanese Embassy in Yemen the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them.
Bin Mubarak renewed Yemen's strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, stressing that the systematic targeting of hospitals and patients, as well as civilian objects in which civilians seek refuge, is a war crime and crimes against humanity, and the international community as a whole must condemn it and work to stop it.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the efforts made to bring peace and resume the political process in Yemen.
For his part, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Japanese Embassy reiterated his country's position in support of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, and the security, unity and stability of Yemen.
