President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received on Sunday the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen, Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi.
In the meeting, the Emirati Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and his wishes for good health for him, and for the Yemeni people, security, goodness, and peace.
In turn, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Ambassador Al Zaabi, conveyed his greetings and the members of the Council to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, and wishes of abundant health and happiness for him and for the Emirati people all progress and prosperity.
The meeting touched on national and regional developments, including the efforts of brothers and friends to stop the war, end the suffering of the Yemeni people, and launch a comprehensive political process in accordance with the local, regional and international peace references, in particular Resolution 2216.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the strong bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, the role of the United Arab Emirates in the coalition to support legitimacy, and its development and humanitarian interventions to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
